Historic District Home
Nestled in a quaint historic district of San Antonio, this 4 bed/2 bath home was built with high performance, longevity, and efficiency in mind. Throughout the building of this home, several Office of Historic Preservation meetings were held to approve an pass the design and overall elements of this home.

The home is a comfortable single family home with a lovely backyard, open living spaces, and spacious primary bedroom. As part of a historic distract, one aspect was that a garage could not be added to the home. With storage in mind, there are several areas in the home where storage elements were creatively added to give the residents plenty of options and places to put things.
Overall, this home was a learning experience as we became more familiar with aspects of building a new construction home in a Historic District, the approval process that goes with it, and while complimenting the existing look of the neighborhood without mimicking the historic elements of surrounding homes.
